Hello Families,
Welcome back to everyone! We wanted to take a minute to explain to our new ASCS families and remind everyone about our Annual Auction.
ASCS (All Saints Catholic School) has only one major fundraiser each year. 'Vegas-Live & Swingin'- ASCS Auction is scheduled for March 1st, 2008. The funds raised at this affair go toward the operating expenses of our school that provide an excellent Catholic education for the children. This event is possible because of the volunteers, corporate sponsors, families and donations from people like you.
This year's auction will be held where it makes the most impact...the school! That's right - this years auction will be held at our school. It is a perfect venue and right here.
Each family is still requested to assist with the fundraising process. Please choose one of the following options:
$250 one-time cash or check donation and a $25 one-time check or cash donation for the wine surprise category, or $250 worth of donations solicited from businesses, corporate sponsors or underwriting and a $25 one-time check or cash donation for the wine surprise category (solicitation list is available), or $250 worth of items that will be packaged in theme baskets ranging in donation value from $25-$100/basket and a $25 one-time check or cash donation for the wine surprise category. A list of themed baskets ideas is attached.
This year, each classroom will have an auction project parent. Their role is to lead the children in the classroom to make an auction project to be bid on the night of the Auction. A list of auction project ideas is attached.
Also this year, there will be no classroom themed baskets. Instead, there will be a classroom picture collage, assisted by the collage volunteers. This collage is a collection of candid pictures of the children taken during the school year up until Jan-Feb. The collage will then be a matted and framed piece of art that will be up for auction, auction night.
There are many great ways to meet your family $250 donation and volunteer hours (40hr/year/family). Signing up to be an auction project parent, working on the solicitation team, underwriting, live auction or raffle team member are just a few areas.
